A beautiful Pear
Julie’s Story….
Julie had a collection of jewellery, including her engagement ring with a lovely pear-shaped diamond and her mum’s eternity ring which had princess and baguette cut diamonds.
She wanted to combine her diamonds and create one ring she could wear everyday. She loved organic, fluid designs and wanted a design created in platinum and 18ct yellow gold.
The challenge with this design was going to be creating a fluid, organic design which included her square and baguette-cut diamonds.
We created a number of designs for Julie, some without her princess and baguette-cut diamonds….
And several with them included in the band.
In the end, Julie opted for a beautiful, gently curved design which did not include her baguette or princess-cut diamonds.
We created a pendant design for her using her leftover diamonds and her mum’s baguette diamonds….

The Completed Legacy Ring
Julie’s Legacy ring was fabulous! The balance of the platinum and the 18ct yellow gold worked beautifully, and the addition of her pear-shaped diamond set at a slight angle complemented the organic flow of the triple bands perfectly.
