What Impacts Cost?

There are a number of factors that contribute to the cost of a Legacy creation. Understanding these can help you to create a design that suits your budget.

These include:

  • The intricacy of a design.

  • The choice of precious metal or combination of metals.

  • The number of gemstones and/or diamonds and therefore the unsetting and setting work required.

  • Your finger size, which impacts the amount of precious metal required.

  • The depth, width and overall weight of your Legacy jewellery.

What’s Included in the Cost?

Having a bespoke piece of jewellery made out of old or inherited jewellery is not like buying a mass-produced piece off the shelf. A lot of work goes into creating your unique masterpiece:

  • Design development and online design presentation.

  • Assessment of existing jewellery and gemstones.

  • Manufacturing and setting work.

  • Independent hallmarking.

  • Comprehensive insurance valuation.

  • Lifetime manufacturing warranty.

  • Secure return or collection arrangements.

Other Important Cost Information

  • All indicative prices and quotes include VAT.

  • Where your existing gold is suitable for reuse, we will explain how it can be incorporated into your new design and how this affects the cost.

  • The value of any old precious metal not being re-used can be offset against the cost of your Legacy piece.

  • You will receive a quotation for your chosen design, together with the value offered for any unused precious metal. This quote will be valid for 7 days.

  • Once you have chosen your final design, all details are put in writing and sent to you to approve. This includes what is being used in your design, what is being handed back and what is being offset.

  • Your Discovery Call is free. This is a no-obligation conversation. Until you pay your deposit, you are not committed to the Legacy journey.
