I lost my mum in 2021, after a devastating battle into the depths and hell that is early-onset vascular dementia. Her death came just 10 months after the quite sudden illness and subsequent death of my beloved dad.

I know the importance of feeling connected to people you have lost. The power of wearing his broken watch, of the memories my mum’s jewellery sparks.
