It may seem obvious, but many women are surprised when it is suggested that they could turn a ring into a pair of earrings or a pendant could be turned into a Raindance-style ring.

The reality is that the possibilities are almost limitless when it comes to redesigning your jewellery.

The key is to look in detail at the diamonds and gemstones you have, rather than the piece of jewellery they are currently in. Count them, look at the size of them, the shape, which sparkle the brightest, which are your favourites.

Also, consider your precious metal - if this is gold, it can possibly be re-used into a feature section of your new piece. Then consider what would you love to wear. The diamonds, gemstones and most precious metals can be re- used and can create almost anything at all.
