A Pouch of Grandad’s Diamonds

Each Legacy piece is unique and each has its own unique story. As a team, we love hearing the family tales that have brought someone to our door.

In Vee’s case, it was her Grandfather and his pouch of diamonds.

Vee’s Story

Vee’s grandfather was once a diamond dealer. He was known for always having carrying a small pouch of diamonds everywhere with him.

Vee and her sister inherited a selection of these diamonds from him, when he sadly passed away.

Having had a few pieces created and then re-designed over the years, Vee was initially cautious about contacting us, as she was disappointed with how her grandfather’s diamonds had previously been set.

The Design

Vee sent us images of designs she loved which was hugely helpful and enabled us to create initial designs we knew would inspire her. As well as her grandfather’s diamonds, she had a diamond-set watch that she was keen to use the diamonds from in her design.

The final design was an impressive, Raindance-inspired design created in platinum using all of her diamonds except two small baguette diamonds.
