An Emotional Decision
Sue’s Story….
Sue booked a place at one of our Legacy Discovery Sessions in Harrogate.
She was looking forward to the experience and had her mum’s diamond trilogy she was very keen to speak to us about.
At our event, Sue explained her mum, Noreen had passed away eleven years earlier and Sue had been carrying her mum’s lovely diamond trilogy ring around with her in her purse ever since.
We shared a few tears together over our dearly missed mums and then Sue explained she would also like to add in her original engagement ring and the diamonds from a small diamond cross pendant she never wore.
So, we got to work on her design…
Sue knew that she wanted a ring she could wear everyday. She also knew that she wanted her new ring to be platinum. The rest she left up to us.
Design 1 was a simple band design
Design 2 was a much more impressive design on a tapered triple band
And….. ultimately Sue fell in love with Design 2.
Not only was it a more substantial design, so perfect for every day, but it was hugely impressive!
The Creation!
Sue’s Legacy ring took around 8 weeks to create, with the first step being the pain-staking task of unsetting her diamonds, cleaning, calibrating and measuring them again to ensure her new design was perfect.
Sue’s ring was cast in platinum as one solid piece, meaning the ring is as robust as it could possibly be.

Sue’s completed ring was stunning and she was delighted!
