Recycle, Re-use, Re-Love - The Many Benefits to Legacy

It is estimated that there is a staggering £6bn worth of unworn jewellery in the UK. Pieces that are sitting forgotten and forlorn in jewellery boxes and in the back of dusty drawers.

Before

No wonder then that we are seeing an increase in the number of people hoping to re-use, recycle and re-love old jewellery. Pieces that often hold memories of love, celebration and a different time in life. The reasons vary, of course, with many wanting to reimagine pieces that hold a link to the past. But for an increasing number of our clients, it is about the ethical and environmental decision.

It’s true to say that the increased demand for transformation and remodelling is happening across the generations. Older people are wanting to wear differently the jewellery that they may have accumulated throughout their adult life. Younger people are looking at their inherited jewellery as a sustainable and ethical alternative to buying new. Our Millennial clients are creating engagement rings using their mother’s or grandmother’s old gemstones, and by working together we create what is essentially a far more meaningful piece of jewellery, because it holds so much history.

After

The reasons behind each Legacy transformation differ, but whether your reason is environmental, financial (more on this HERE) or emotional, what is guaranteed is the quality. World-class, exceptional quality of service and jewellery every time.
