Charlotte’s Story….
Charlotte contacted us as she had inherited a number of rings from her beloved Grandma.
She was very clear that she wanted to create a delicate, pretty ring, in an organic style. She loved flowers and nature and wanted to incorporate these features into her design somehow.
She also wanted to create a small pendant out of her grandma’s sapphire cluster ring.
So, the challenge was on….
We created a couple of designs with a leaf motif and a flower. The design needed to be small and intricate to best showcase Charlotte’s tiny diamonds.
We showed Charlotte the design in platinum…..
And in 18ct gold…
The Completed Legacy Ring
Charlotte opted for 18ct gold, which we believe was the perfect choice for this dainty, vintage-feel design.
The completed ring was more beautiful than we could have hoped. The milgrain detailing around the leaf settings really added to the vintage, prettiness of the design and her grandma’s diamonds were showcased beautifully!
We were also able to turn Charlotte’s grandma’s cluster ring into a pretty pendant, keeping the original setting and carefully and sympathetically adding in a bale for the chain.
Charlotte was thrilled with her completed ring and her new pendant.
