A Splash of Red
Suzanne’s Story….
Suzanne had a collection of jewellery that just wasn’t working for her. She wanted to create a piece of jewellery she could enjoy wearing every day.
It was important to Suzanne that her ruby was the main focal point of her new design. She wanted a timeless pendant design created in 18ct gold.
So, we got to work on her design…..
We started off by creating a fabulous halo design with the Ruby at the centre.
We also showed Suzanne version of this design with a smaller diamond halo surrounding the beautiful pear shaped ruby.
In the end, Suzanne opted for a stunning design with a single diamond drop and halo.
The Creation!
Work began. Alison’s rubies and diamonds were carefully unset from her existing jewellery, cleaned, calibrated and prepared for their new home. Her mum’s beautiful oval ruby, once cleaned and polished was exquisite!
The ring was a tricky creation with several pieces cast separately in 18ct gold and platinum. But the result was worth the hard work……
The Completed Legacy Pendant
Suzanne’s Legacy pendant was truly spectacular! The platinum combined with the beautiful pinky red of her ruby was stunning.
